Meet The Mentors

Nadhirah grew up watching her parents providing excellent care for their patients. Ever since the age of 4, it became her dream to craft smiles.

Dr Faizur Rahmaan is a Prosthodontist who did his PG in Government Dental College, Chennai. Dr Akeela Rahman is a Periodontist from Government Dental College, Bangalore. 

Since 2015, Dr Deepak has been a driving force in creating the artist in this dentist. His core beliefs - hardwork meets smartwork and giving your utmost for the patient, helped Nadhirah create a strong work ethic and a stronger passion toward dentistry. 

Dr Vinay was the first mentor during the PG curriculum to have challenged Nadhirah since Day One.  He has pushed Nadhirah in every aspect during her PG course from scheduling of appointments, patient management skills to wax carving refinements, creating an attention to detail during every step of any case. 

Every staff has played a huge part of mentorship in my journey. Be it personally or professionally, I owe my success and growth entirely to the Department of Prosthodontics, Saveetha Dental College, Chennai.

Since my UG days, Dr Suresh has played an important role with sculpting  my journey and choosing prosthodontics. After 9 years under his guidance, I would like to convey my gratitude to him for having been extremely understanding with me and creating a stepwise clarity of the workflow.

Dr Thiyan has been a guiding force through my implantology course. Be it the fabrication of an I Bar for an implant case, or the surgery planning for a full mouth implant case, sir has been every step of each implant case done and has closely held our hand whilst the procedure went on. 

Dr Keerthi is one of the mentors during the PG curriculum to have pushed Nadhirah in completion of her research projects.  He has encouraged Nadhirah in paying more attention to correcting extremely minute details in her full mouth rehabilitations prior to completion thus helping every case bring back that beautifully curated smile  with the completion. 

Dr Amrutha helped me understand my potential and kept me aiming for the stars, be it with theory or clinical work. I will always be grateful to her for the kindest approach of teaching. 

Dr Vaishnavi has been a source of motivation and whenever I have had doubts, she has been available to ensure no question went unanswered. From research submissions till thesis guidance, she has held my hand and gone through the process with me.

Dr Sanjana has been a source of inspiration. She taught me that the line between work and personal life must be drawn with a stiff hand from day 1. She made sure I had created a daily schedule of clinical work until 4pm following which research, case designing, studying came into play. Only with such a schedule was it possible to finish the allocated work neatly and with no stress.

Dr Kiran helped me understand that a clinician must be very communicative with a lab to ensure that no step goes with a mistake. He gave me the insight that was needed to make a case submission to a technician seamless.

Dr Ram K taught me a very important lesson of correlating clinical work with theory information. Once the integration of the 2 internalised, I felt massive change in my style of treatment.

Without your guidance, be it UG or PG, it would not have been possible for me to understand the basics and nitty gritty details of a research topic. From topic selection to the quality of each test and which holds more credibility, you have taught me how to do and write a research article.

At any time a doubt is posed, he has been extremely patient and explained in detail how the concept works. 

With every case, be it the workflow, or providing an insight on how better the job could be done, Dr Khushali has been very approachable and extremely involved in the process. I saw a great improvement in my outcomes.
